Sexual Assault Advocacy and Prevention Specialist


Safe Passage, Inc., a best in class provider of services to survivors of domestic and sexual violence throughout southeast Indiana is looking for a Sexual Assault Advocacy and Prevention Specialist to work with agency and community professionals to provide comprehensive sexual assault crisis response and advocacy to survivors of sexual violence, as well as school and community-based bystander intervention and SA awareness programming.

This position requires strong communication and leadership skills, ability to work independently and proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and Outlook. Minimum Bachelor’s degree in human services, counseling or related field required. Minimum 2 years of related work experience preferred. Candidate must be willing to travel throughout six county service region, work occasional weekends or evenings and participate in 24/7/365 on-scene sexual assault advocacy.

Fundraising and Events Intern


The Fundraising & Events intern works closely with the Community Outreach/Communications Director. This role will provide management and coordination for fundraising events for Safe Passage. This individual will assist with the development pipeline, strategic planning, and research to help raise funds in support of Safe Passage, Inc’s mission.

This position requires strong communication and project management skills, demonstrated ability to multi-task to meet changing deadlines. This position also requires basic skills in graphic design programs.


Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the Unites States. 
Hours may vary, 10-15 per week, from the standard 9am-5pm. Occasional evening and weekends may be required.
This is an unpaid internship.
